Place the contents of a legacy Excel XLS spreadsheet into a Word DOC document as formatted tables you can wrap in narrative text. Every formula is resolved to its current value on the way in, so the document presents results, not calculations.

Why convert XLS to DOC?
- Write commentary around figures - audit findings, budget narratives, grant reports - in a proper word processor.
- Deliver numbers to reviewers working in Word 2003 or in systems that only accept .doc attachments.
- Freeze a dated snapshot of a living spreadsheet inside a readable report.
Tip: Number formats travel as displayed text, so a cell showing 1.2K keeps that abbreviation in Word. Set the display formatting you want readers to see before converting.
